Man Tries to Rob Woodburn 7-11

(WOODBURN, Ore. ) - Woodburn police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who tried to rob a 7-11 store Sunday night.

Police say the suspect walked in to the store located on North Pacific Highway around 10:30 p.m., showed a knife and tried to rob the store. After exchanging words with a customer, the suspect waved the knife and ran off.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his 20s and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He has a stocky to heavy build and he wore a blue, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white tennis shoes.

Police said the man wore a blue bandana over his face.
