National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 82 Endorses Bill Bradbury for GovernorSalem-News.comNALC 82 is the labor union representing the approximately 2,000 city letter carriers employed by the US Postal Service in Oregon.
(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 82 (Portland Metro area) voted to endorse Bill Bradbury for Oregon Governor last night. In announcing the endorsement NALC Branch 82 said, “Bill Bradbury has been a steadfast advocate for Vote by Mail, both within Oregon as Secretary of State, and nationally.” In receiving the endorsement Bill Bradbury said, “I am honored and pleased to receive the support of Letter Carriers who have been fantastic partners in Oregon’s Vote by Mail system. I was tasked as Secretary of State to implement and ensure the success of Vote By Mail and it would not have been possible without the hard working men and women of the National Association of Letter Carriers. I will work every day in this campaign and as Governor to honor this endorsement. Thank you.” NALC 82 is the labor union representing the approximately 2,000 city letter carriers employed by the US Postal Service in 32 post offices in the following cities – Beaverton, Canby, Forest Grove, Gladstone, Gresham, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, McMinnville, Newberg, Oregon City, Portland, St. Helens, Troutdale, and West Linn. They are affiliated with the AFL-CIO and the JOBS with JUSTICE coalition.
