Salem-Keizer Superintendent Finalists Meet The Public

The naming of a new superintendent is expected by the end of the month.

(SALEM) - The Salem-Keizer community will have an opportunity to meet the finalists for the Salem-Keizer superintendent position Monday night.

The community will have an opportunity to meet each one at the following evening receptions:

Candidate 2 reception: Wednesday, March 22nd, 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Leslie Middle School

Candidate 3 reception: Thursday, March 23rd, 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Leslie Middle School

District officials have added more information on the candidates to the Salem-Keizer Web site.

Salem-Keizer staff will have a chance to meet the candidates on the above dates from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

The school board is conducting the first round of interviews this week.

Salem-Keizer is seeking a new superintendent because current superintendent, Dr. Kay Baker, is retiring June 30th.
