Salem's Channel-52 Brings Broadcast Viewers the Governor's Debate

(SALEM) - KWVT Channel-52 announces the upcoming broadcast of the Oregon Governor's Debate. KWVT, the only broadcast station that serves the Mid-Willamette Valley, has been on the air for just less than a year.

Program director Mike Mattson says the station is gaining viewers, and adds that they are extremely excited about the upcoming debate, "KWVT is committed to bring to its viewers Local information that affects them. We think that this is one way we can inform our viewers without any bias, like when the content is edited for a news story"

Candidates' debated March 11th at Willamette University and it was sponsored by a consortium of 19 daily Oregon newspapers.

KWVT would like to thank CCTV for providing the pool feed for this event. KWVT 52 can be viewed with an antenna on UHF 52, or on Country Cable 54 or Capitol Cable 7.
