NCAA Tournament: Oregon Defeats UNLV 76-72 to Advance to Elite Eight

#3 Oregon will play #1 Florida at 2:40 PM ET on Sunday

(ST. LOUIS) - Oregon is moving on to the Elite Eight.

The Ducks held-on to beat UNLV 76-72.

Tajuan Porter led the Ducks with 33 points and three rebounds. Malik Hairston chipped in 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Maarty Leunen also had a big game with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Kevin Kruger had 15 points, four rebounds and four assists for UNLV.

Oregon lead 37-33 at half.

The Ducks will now face Midwest Region #1 seed Florida who earlier defeat #5 Butler, 65-57.

Al Horford had 16 points, seven rebounds to lead the Gators (32-5) into Sunday’s championship game.
