BREAKING NEWS Amber Alert in Washington Cancelled- Kids Safe and Sound

The kids were reported to be unhurt and healthy.

(IDAHO SPRINGS, Co.) - The Washington State Police and the State of Montana canceled the Amber Alert after the children were recovered safe and the suspect taken into custody in Denver on Thursday afternoon.

The children from Walla Walla who were the subject of an Amber Alert have been located safe and sound in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

Their father who had been described as dangerous, John Baugher is in custody.

The father and two kids have been the subject of intense searching in recent days as law enforcement agencies in the Northwest and other regions of the country kept the alert high for kids they believed were in danger.

Osotan, it seems I heard on the news that the father is mentally ill, this quote came from another newspaper. If he wanted to spend time with his children, he needed to do it legally, not illegally "...Baugher was arrested on a warrant issued in Walla Walla County Superior Court on Monday on charges of custodial interference for allegedly failing to return his children to their mother, Joelle Remillard, who has custody. The FBI issued an additional warrant on a charge of flight to avoid prosecution."

any word on what "danger" the father posed? Sounds like he wanted to be with his kids to me, but more missing info than that provided. No aspersions to S-N, just that I haven't seen any more on this in any of the news describing just what his crime was. And I am happy no one injured in this.
