Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff for Fallen Oregon Marine

Peterson was the 87th military service members from Oregon or with close ties to the state killed in the war in Iraq.

(SALEM) - Governor Ted Kulongoski ordered all flags at public institutions be flown at half-staff on Friday, in memory of Marine Lance Cpl. Dale Peterson. Peterson, 20, of Redmond, died Monday, April 23rd, in Falluja, Iraq.

He was a member of the 2nd Combat Engineer battalion of the 2nd Marine Division, based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. “The thoughts and prayer of Oregonians throughout the state are with Lance Corporal Peterson’s family and friends as they grieve the loss of a great Oregonian,” said Governor Kulongoski. “Peterson served our state and country with great honor, bravery and dedication. He will be missed by us all.”

How sad. When are we going to storm the white whorehouse and drag the war criminals out and lynch them ? How many more have to die to protect our little Napoleons ego ?
