(POULSBO, Wa.) - The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is looking for Serenity Withrow, a small child who they say was taken by her mother, a woman with a history of drug use and physical abuse of children. Police say the abduction took place in Poulsbo, Washington on Wednesday, May 2nd at 5:00 PM. The mother, Rebecca Forrester, had her parental rights terminated. A court ordered that child to be taken into state custody. Forrester has a prior history of physical abuse with children and drug use. This particular child was born whlie Forrester was in hiding. Police say she associates are known offenders. The victim is Serenity Withrow, who is described as a 2-month old white female. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She measures 1'11" and weighs 6 pounds. Rebecca Forrester. is a 32-year old female. She is Caucasian, with brown hair and brown eyes. She weighs approximately 140 pounds. She also has a tattoo unicorn on her right ankle, a heavily pocked mark face, false teeth. Forrester was last seen driving a white 2001 Dodge Dakota Pickup with Washington license plate, A02765P.
