(Gainesville, GA) - Riverside Military Academy congratulates Cadet Corporal Daniel K. Gonzalez, a sophomore, on his acceptance to the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar in Annapolis, Maryland.

The U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar is a fast-paced, six-day experience for high school students who are high achievers. The Summer Seminar selection process is very competitive with only 750 students accommodated per session. The program teaches students about life at the Naval Academy and how academics, athletics, and professional training all play equally important roles in developing great leaders.

C/CPL Gonzalez participates in the band program at Riverside Military Academy. He plays the tuba and the sousaphone.

Cadet Gonzalez, from Salem, Oregon, is the son of Ms. Marguerite Kenagy.
