Three Earthquakes Shake off Northern California CoastKevin Hays Salem-News.comNo Tsunami Warning was issued for the West Coast.
(PETROLIA, Calif. ) - Three strong earthquakes shook off the Northern California coast this morning. The first, a magnitude 5.2, occurred at 12:50 AM, and had a depth of 5.6 miles. The second, a 4.5 magnitude occurred at 1:07 AM, and had a depth of 6.4 miles. The latest, a magnitude 2.7 occurred at 1:18 AM, and had a depth of 3.2 miles. The quakes were centered 38 miles west of the town of Petrolia, Calif. There were no injuries or damage reported. No Tsunami warning was issued for the West Coast.
