McMinnville, Salem Police Operation Nets Child Porn Downloader

(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) - A McMinnville man is behind bars today after police seized computers, video equipment and pornographic magazines and movies from his McMinnville apartment.

Since March, McMinnville and Salem police have been investigating Internet downloads of child pornography by the man.

23-year-old Jeriel Conahan was arrested on 10 counts of encouraging child sex abuse, a Class B felony.

Conahan was booked into the Yamhill County Jail on $100,000 bail.
