Be Aware! Salem - Polk County Road Construction ReportSalem-News.comPaving on Orchard Heights Road this week could have delays of up to 20 minutes.
(SALEM, Ore. ) - The City of Salem Public Works Department and Polk County want you to Be Aware! of road construction project that are set to begin this week. Please! make a note of these projects, and if your commute takes your through one of these workzones Please! Slow Down, and expect some long delays. Use alternate routes if possible. Salem Road Construction Report: Turner Rd SE Between Airway Dr SE and Kuebler Blvd SE 5/29 - 5/31, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Turner Rd SE will be closed each night for bridge construction as part of the ODOT I-5 widening project. A detour route will be in place. Carleton Way NE Between Abrams Ave NE and Duncan Ave NE 5/29 - 6/15, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Lane closure with flaggers for utility work. River Rd S Between Croisan Creek Road S and Homestead Road S. 5/30 - 5/31, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. River Road S between Croisan Creek Road S and Homestead Road S will be reduced to one lane of traffic with flaggers. This closure is for work on a new development. Tayside St S Between Dublin and Illahee Hills Dr S. 5/30 - 6/7, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM. Street closure for utilities installation. Sidewalk - State St Between Liberty St SE and High St SE. 5/30 - 6/1, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sidewalk closure for cleaning and painting awning will alternate with closure on High Street sidewalk closure on other side of building. Sidewalk - High St SE Between State St and Trade St SE. 5/30 - 6/1, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sidewalk closure for cleaning and painting awning will alternate with closure on State Street sidewalk closure on other side of building. Polk County Road Construction Report: The following roads will be affected by some type of construction work or paving between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Orchard Heights Road will be paved starting Tuesday, May 29th through June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20 minute delay. Orchard Heights Place will be paved starting Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20 minute delay. Oak Grove Road will have shoulder rock work done on Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20 minute delay. Greenwood Road - North will have shoulder rock work done on Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20 minute delay. Farmer Road will have shoulder rock work done Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20 minute delay. Orrs Corner Road will have shoulder rock work done on Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect a minor delay. Rogers Road will have shoulder rock work done on Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect a minor delay. Greenwood Road - South will have shoulder rock work done on Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 1st. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect a minor delay. Doaks Ferry Road will have road work done at the intersection of Hwy 22 on Friday, June 1st from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Eola Drive NW will have road work done on Friday, June 1 from 7 AM to 5 PM. The Bridge on Buena Vista Road will have road work on Thursday, May 31st. One lane will be closed and traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Travelers should expect a minor delay. Related Traffic |
