Salem Police Ask for Public Help in Identifying Bank Robbery SuspectSalem-News.comPolice say it appears to be the same suspect who robbed the OSU Federal Credit Union in Keizer on March 23rd.
(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem Police are asking for assistance from the public in identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that happened at the First Tech Credit Union at 2829 Lancaster Dr NE, Thursday, May 24th, at approximately 5:20 PM. Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada says the suspect is described as a Black male adult, 25-35 years old, 6'02"-6'03", 200-230 pounds. He also is reported to have had an unshaven face. He says the man was wearing blue jeans with a dark colored shirt, dark colored jacket and a blue stocking cap. "The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen walking northbound along the west side of Lancaster Dr NE from the business." Based on the suspect description and surveillance photos, Okada says it appears to be the same suspect who robbed the OSU Federal Credit Union in Keizer on March 23rd.
