ShowBiz 2006 Two Days AwaySalem-News.comBetween 5,500 and 6,000 people are expected to attend Show Biz 2006.
(SALEM) - Show-Biz organizers say this year's event offers a lively mix of vendors and attendees from all sectors and walks of the Salem area and beyond: business, industry, civic, education, nonprofit, government and the general public. Below are the event's three key time frames and the focus of each. Beginning at 8:00 AM: Exhibitor set up and booth decorating throughout the morning and early afternoon. The Jackman Long Building's floor is completely covered with a red carpet, giving the event a high energy and festive atmosphere. Booth displays will vary from state-of-the-art to whimsical, from lavish to strictly business. Two areas are decorated by professional landscape companies. 2:00 - 3:00 PM: An "Exhibitors Only" networking hour one hour before the show opens to the public. Gives exhibitors the opportunity to network with each other and see other vendor displays -- the exhibitors only networking hour is a popular feature of the show. For a list of exhibitors, to go www.showbiztradeshow.com or www.salemchamber.org to learn more. 3:00 - 8:30 PM: Restaurant and catering vendors with lavish booth displays offering food and beverage samples; children and families interacting with vendors featuring product demos, giveaways, hands-on activities and door prizes; business exhibitors interacting with potential customers; business-to-business and business-to-public networking; and nonprofit and community organizations interacting with business professionals and the public-at-large. | ![]() Support Salem-News.com: ![]() ![]() googlec507860f6901db00.html ![]() | |
