Phone, Power Outages Reported in Turner

PGE estimates some 200 are without power.

(TURNER) - Utility crews are busy working to restore phone and power to residents of Turner this afternoon.

The Marion County Sheriff’s office says a car driven by a 24-year-old crashed into a utility pole this morning causing the outages.

Verizon officials say some 2,000 customers are without phone service.

PGE estimates some 200 are without power.

There is no current estimate on when power and phone service will be restored.
