Silverton Teen Killed in Single Car Crash

Marion County Sheriff's Office investigators say it appears speed and slick road conditions were factors in the crash.

(SILVERTON, Ore. ) - A Silverton, Oregon teen was killed Thanksgiving morning in a single car crash.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Silverton Fire Department responded to the report of a crash in the 18300 block of North Abiqua Road NE just after 2:00 AM. When crews arrived they found a 1994 Honda Civic had left the road and struck a large tree near the bank of Abiqua Creek.

The single occupant, identified as 18-year-old Alexander Frassenei was pronounced dead at the scene.
