Shooting In Front of South Salem High School

The victim is hospitalized with life threatening injuries

(SALEM) - A shooting occurred in front of South Salem High School Tuesday night at about 9:15. Witnesses heard several gunshots, and one bystander saw people running away from the scene. One male victim was apparently located almost a mile away at a convenience store. He is hospitalized with life threatening injuries after being shot in the back more than once. The weapon, possibly a .45 caliber handgun, was reportedly found in the center of Church Street, in front of the high school. There is no connection between this incident and the school known at this time. Police are currently looking for the gunman, and the investigation continues. If anyone knows information about this shooting, please contact Salem Police.

My ex bf jordan goes to your guys school and if they are shooting they better stop before some one else gets hurt. So the shootings better stop right now!!!!

When I was a child some of the children would imitate "The Three Stooges" and "Our Gang". They would poke each other in the eyes with two fingers and hit each other over the head in the exact same way as they saw it on these shows which by today's standard would be considered mild. Child see--child do. The principal had an open meeting with the parents about not allowing their children to watch things they may imitate. Now, you have so much violence and superficial sex on television and in the movies, for young people who do are not raised right (most) it does not surprise me that there is so much gun and other violence among the young. These kind of young people who obviously not pro-life are a perfect argument for abortion.
