Snow Advisory Issued for Oregon Cascades, Coast Range

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Snow Advisory until midnight tonight for the Oregon Coast Range and until 5:00 AM Thursday for the Oregon Cascades.

2 to 4 inches of snow is likely in the north and central coast range. For the Cascades, snow will continue through the night with snow falling above 2000 feet. The heaviest snow will fall between 6:00 PM and midnight, when 2 to 4 inches of new snow is expected.

A Snow Advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilites.
