(SOLANA BEACH, Calif.) - The "Fall" energblog.com has hit the electronic news stands. The blog highlights "Efficiency First," the transition to renewable energy that saves money, provides value to home and commercial real estate owners, and reduces our carbon footprint.

Ted Torre-Bueno leads off with a post which by its title, "What is Empowered Energy Solutions?", one might think rather simple. Why a guy starts a company. But with Ted, there's just a little more to it as one might expect. He writes:

"What’s the answer? Prove that sustainability and cooperation can serve as the basis for an economy more vital and beneficial to all than the old way ever was or would have been. Create jobs that allow people to earn a living wage, educate their children, provide for their medical care, and put money into their local economy..."

Turning the Titanic

After building a career as a attorney, John Reaves is giving something back. His Fee and Dividend concept addresses the increasing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere through market mechanisms. A fee imposed on carbon, at the mine, at the well-head, and at the ports, provides an incentive to consume less of it. Here John describes the initiative, which he says will have cascading benefits globally, a "virtuous circle" of re-valuation and carbon reduction.

Finally, from the illustrated mind of Ted Torre-Bueno also arrives, "Heaven is High and the Emperor is Far Away," on both, the Solyndra scandal and the recent Southern California power outage--which turned off the juice to over 4 million souls from San Diego to Sonora, Mexico.
