Murder Suspect Arrested in Hillsboro

The suspect will be Arraigned for the May 5th Murder of an Aloha Man.

(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - Police say 18-year-old Pablo Guzman was arrested Tuesday for the May 20th murder of 27-year-old Constantino Cruz. He will is being arraigned at today.

Investigators say Tuesday at approximately 3:00 PM, detectives from the Washington County Major Crimes Team arrested Guzman at the intersection of SW 206th Avenue and SW Francis Street in Aloha.

According to Sgt. Dave Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, an extensive investigation has been conducted by the Washington County Major Crimes Team in cooperation with the Washington County Interagency Gang Enforcement Team has been underway since the date of the murder.

"Yesterday the investigation led to 174 NE 28th Avenue in the City of Hillsboro, where Mr. Guzman was located and arrested . He was taken to the Washington County Jail where he was booked and held on $250,000 bail."

Thompson says the case is still under investigation, and they are not making further statements.

"In order to preserve the integrity of the investigation no further details of the case will be released at this time."

I am a very close friend 2 pablo we worked together. and I still talk to him. my personal opinion is he is innocent.

but my personal opinion pablo is innocent. i write him twice a week. thats my BESTFRIEND.

i have been doin alot of research on this case in my criminal science class and its a tough case

all you people are so naieve and have your eyes closed cuz he was a friend or whatever, someone can be the kindest person but under drugs or intoxicated all the ish goes out the window that kids a coward like the rest of them pieces of ish. i hope the rawt in jail.

Ive have known Pablo for a good amount of years now and some things that I have grown to know about him is that he is a lot of things like a real good friend, father, husband, but murderer he is not. In life we all have our ups and downs, good and bad, but Pablo was the kind of guy that would lay his own life down before any of his own got hurt. Sometimes we are in the wrong places at the wrong time, with people that make the wrong choices. But those experiences cannot be avoided due to the fact that we dont know whats going on inside their head, at that point in time. I stand behind Pablo Guzman and his family. pablo is INNOCENT!!! I've known him for many years and he would never kill a person knowing that he has a family to raise

pablo and i may not be friends but its true...he is innocent and the police just need to lay off.

I barely know Pablo but what I do know is that he may think he's a bad ass but he could never kill anyone! He needs to be with his son and daughter-to-be.
