Ron Paul Campaign Raises Over $5 Million in Third Quarter

"Dr. Paul's message is freedom, peace and prosperity," said Paul campaign chairman Kent Snyder.

(ARLINGTON, Va) - The Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign raised $5,080,000 during the third quarter of 2007. That is an impressive 114 percent increase from the second quarter.

"Dr. Paul's message is freedom, peace and prosperity," said Paul campaign chairman Kent Snyder. "As these fundraising numbers show, more Americans each day are embracing Dr. Paul's message."

Ron Paul's 114 percent increase is in stark contrast to the decrease suffered by Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, and John McCain.

Romney's fundraising was down 29 percent. Giuliani was down 40 percent. McCain was down 55 percent.

Americans are finally completely fed up with pandering and mouth moving politicians! I was a hardcore Democrat who is jumping ship to get actively involved in Ron Paul's campaign. This man's message and core values is what our country needs and has been yearning for. We're taking our Gov't back! Dr. Ron Paul has cured me of a bad case of VOTERAPATHY! Ron Paul gives me the impression that he has the highest IQ of all of the Reps. I feel the same about Dennis Kucinich on the Dem side. I wish a debate monitor would ask all these 'runners' what their IQ is. I know it is not the most important thing, but maybe Bush wouldn't have been 'sort of elected' if the voters realized his IQ is under 100. Of course it should have been obvious to anyone listening to the debates. Best regards Leebm29
