Exclusive Picture of Amanda Knox Prosecutor as He Hears Verdict

Injustice in Perugia has obtained this exclusive photograph which shows Mignini’s face as he receives a proverbial sock to the stomach.

(ROME) - They say a picture is worth a thousand words. On Monday, in Perugia, Italy, Amanda Knox won her appeal against her 2009 murder conviction and was found innocent.

It was not a verdict people were expecting, and while Amanda Knox was clearly blown away by the news that she would be a free woman, the same certainly holds true for the prosecutor.

While all the media’s eyes were on Amanda Knox during the reading of the verdict, a famous Italian journalist by the name of Mario Spezi who co-authored the best selling book The Monster of Florence, was there to grab the shot of a lifetime.

A picture of Giuliano Mignini, the overzealous prosecutor.

Injustice in Perugia has obtained this exclusive photograph which shows Mignini’s face as he receives a proverbial sock to the stomach.

Incidentally, Giuliano Mignini had also falsely accused Mario Spezi of murder several years ago and was thrown in prison on no evidence.

The photograph was taken at the very moment that Hellmann announced his verdict declaring Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito innocent. The announcement ended a several year long ordeal that Salem-News.com has covered from time to time, particularly with the help of Injustice in Perugia.

Special thanks to Injustice in Perugia

Erik Forsgren, Let's hope Mignini is indicted before he has the chance to go after A and R again. Word has it there are hundreds he has threatened with legal suits and I'm pretty sure a good number of them are going to be hitting back.

Lisa, I completely agree with you... only don't you mean "abuse of office"?

The best moment of all, knowing Mignini's goose was finally cooked. Evil is as evil does. I hope they throw the book at him for his "absue of office" conviction.

Please disregard my previous uninformed comment. I should have dug into it further before commenting. It turns out that she was saying that she was at her boyfriend's place.

Have any psychologists mentioned Stockholm Syndrome to explain some of the things that Ms. Knox supposedly "confessed" to, such as the time she said "I was there?" She was, after all, a hostage.

I have read in the Italian press that Rudy Guede is about to overturn his verdict! Sic! and if you ask me he will certainly do that with help of that corrupted Mignini cause the only two persons he is interested in convicting is Amanda and Raffaele. As you already know Mignini only wants to have his outragious impossible assumptions confirmed as evidence and incarcerate Amanda and Raffaele for life. The only person who decides what is justice in this world is Mignini himself. He seems to be the same character as Mussolini who said: Il duce ha sempre ragione, The leader is always right

Prosecutor Mignini is a horrible man. He needs to pay for his crimes during this and other criminal investigations and trials.
