Salem Fire Department Hosting Open House Monday

The Keizer Fire District is also hosting an open house Monday as part of National Fire Prevention Week.

(SALEM) - The Salem Fire Department is hosting an open house Monday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salem Airport Fire Station, 2740 25th Street SE.

Scheduled events include an exibition of Car Extrication, a High Angle Rescue Demonstration and a Live Fire Demonstration.

Flash The Fearless Fire Dog will be there too. Flash may be the Salem Fire Department's best asset in reaching kids in a fun way and leaving lasting educational experiences about fire safety.

Firefighters will also have the Apparatus Demonstration, Blood Pressure Checks, a Fire Station Tour, REACH Air's Medical Helicopter, Fire Prevention Demonstrations and also Refreshments. There will also be and door prizes.

The Keizer event will also have a lot of fun events and demonstrations for people of all ages.
