Everette, Washington Soldier Dies in Iraq

The Department of Defense says the Soldier's death is under investigation.

(BAGHDAD, Iraq) - DoD Identifies Army Casualty

A U.S. soldier from Everette, Washington was killed in Iraq over the weekend. Specialist Vincent G. Kamka, 23, died October 4th in Bayji, Iraq.

Vincent Kamka was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.

The Department of Defense did not offer any details as to how Specialist Kamka died, and they say the Soldier's death is under investigation.
