Police Seek Convenience Store Suspect Who Fired Gun During RobberySalem-News.comPolice are looking for the suspect, they say he is a white male, 18-20 years old, five foot six inches tall, clean-shaven with a thin build. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) - The 47-year-old store clerk in Milwaukie was robbed by a man while taking out the trash Saturday night just before 11:00 PM. Police say he was confronted near the front of the store by the suspect who was brandishing a handgun. It happened at a convenience store in the 8900 block of SE 42nd. Officer Kevin Krebs with Milwaukie Police says a brief struggle ensued during which the suspect fired off one shot, which was later found lodged in the store. He said the suspect then fled on foot. Police are looking for the suspect, they say he is a white male, 18-20 years old, five foot six inches tall, clean-shaven with a thin build. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Milwaukie Police say they are also looking for a stolen vehicle that might be associated with the suspect. The vehicle is a red 1983 Toyota Camry with OR license HQV357. Milwaukie Police ask that if the vehicle is seen to call 911. No one was injured in the robbery and nothing was taken. Police ask anyone with information on the robbery to contact the Milwaukie Police Department at 503-786-7500.
