One Person Dies in Crash on Interstate 84 Near Pendleton

One lane is closed on Westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 222 for an unknown period of time. Drivers should expect delays.

(PENDLETON, Ore.) - Oregon State Police troopers are on the scene of a fatal traffic crash on Interstate 84, about ten miles east of Pendleton.

The westbound crash near milepost 222 reportedly involves a single commercial vehicle. It is confirmed that there is one fatality.

Police say the inside lane is closed, as OSP troopers and local emergency responders are on scene.

They say motorists should be advised that there will be an unknown length of closure and no more information to be released tonight.

hmmmm yeah i almost hit this dude he was driving an orange car he was pulling out of a ditch and started coming towards traffic and went head on in the fast lane i nearly hit him going 70 miles an hour a truck in front of me saved my life by swerving out real fast so i caught my attention other wise i would have him him head on
