Portland Police Officers Investigate Suspicious Death

Portland Police Homicide Detectives are on the scene of a suspicious death in the area of the 6900 Block of North Fessenden.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Portland Police officers responded to a residence Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the 6900 Block of North Fessenden and found a deceased 50-year-old woman inside an apartment.

Portland Police Detective Mary Wheat, says Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate the death due to suspicious circumstances.

"Detectives will be at the scene throughout the night investigating this incident," Wheat said.

There will not be any additional information released about this incident until Wednesday.
