Dump Truck Slams Minivan and Rolls Over

Nobody was hurt when the boulders came out of the truck.

(SALEM) - A dump truck lost it's load of large rocks in West Salem Friday morning after a rollover accident involving the dump truck and a minivan.

Salem Fire's Bill Holmstrom says the department received a call for a Motor Vehicle Accident at Eola Drive NW and Edgewater Drive NW at 11:09 AM Friday.

Firefighter/Paramedics arriving on scene reported a two-vehicle accident with heavy impact to a dodge caravan.

The dump truck that hit the caravan rolled over dumping its entire load of boulders.

Fire Fighter/Paramedic Keith Moore stated, "Everyone involved in the accident was very lucky that no one was injured."

Traffic was reduced to one lane while the accident is being cleared up, staying that way most of Friday afternooon.

Salem Police is conducting the full investigation.

how do you tip over a dump truck full of boulders? The driver must of been either under the influence or just a full blown moron ingrade
