(Salem) -The weeks running up to the election have been tense. Benny & Sid would like nothing better than to get out of town, go on vacation or just take a walk in the woods, but the most important election in recent history is taking place and they'd like you to know what they think about it. This past week they've taken the time to spruce up their studio so that it has a more professional look and feel. Now if Sid can just convince Benny to dress up in something different than a t-shirt ("But it feels comfortable!") they'll be a distinctly class act.

Once awake Sid begins to reassemble the dream while retaining its irrational dream qualities. Let us hope that reality presents a more pleasant conclusion than Sid's dreams.

Salem-News.com artist Glen Bledsoe, AKA "Leonardo", releases new original comic strip, celebrates 100 editions of 'Nota Bene'.

(SALEM, Ore.) -Just at the crest of its popularity Salem-News.com's ever-popular comic strip Nota Bene by Leonard ceases following it's one-hundredth issue.

The creator of Nota Bene, Leonardo of Salem, AKA Glen Bledsoe, has been busy generating the completely unique Oregon cartoon strip since the first edition was published on Salem-News.com August 6th, 2006. Poignant and politically relevant, the series utilizes movie frames highly customized through Glen's unique touch. The new series, Benny and Sid`s Your Public Service Announcements, is more unique; the artwork in the new series is entirely created by Glen from scratch.

Few people seem to enjoy their professional careers more than Glen and Karen Bledsoe. When Glen joined Salem-News.com he was working as a university professor. Today he is lending his skills toward an even more important set; elementary school students.
