CORVALLIS - Oregon State qualified for the NCAA Women`s Gymnastics Championships for the 16th time in its history. Prior to qualifying for the championships last Saturday, the Beavers had narrowly missed three years in a row. Oregon State earned its place in the championships by finishing second, ahead of Pac-10 Champion and No. 2 seeded Stanford, at the NCAA West Regional hosted by Stanford. The NCAA Championships begin on Thursday, April 20th with two qualifying sessions. Three regional winners and three regional runners-up were randomly chosen for each Thursday session. The grouping with Oregon State, as the host team, received the evening session. The evening session (starting at 7:00 PM) features Georgia, Iowa State, Florida, Arizona State, Arkansas and Oregon State. The afternoon session includes Oklahoma, Nebraska, Michigan, Utah, LSU and Alabama. The top three teams from each session advance to the Super Six on Friday, April 21st. The all-around champion will also be awarded Friday. Individual event championships take place on Saturday, April 22nd. WHO TO KEEP AN ON IN SESSION I: Utah: Finished the regular season ranked #2...
