MONMOUTH - Kevin Corrigan and Jason Pohl hit home runs, and Matt Skundrick added a grand slam as Western Oregon rolled to an 18-8 baseball victory over Metro State on Friday afternoon at the WOU Baseball Field. The four-game series between the two teams from the NCAA Division II west region continues on Saturday with a doubleheader that begins at noon. The win was the 12th in the last 14 outings for the Wolves, who also just captured two of three games against defending region champion Chico State.
