Thunder End Stampede`s Winning Streak

SALEM - Stampede center Eric Fiegi scored 43 points, and guard Jeff Dunn poured in 40 points, but that was not enough to keep Salem`s winning streak going.

The Tacoma Thunder, the defending IBL Western Division Champion, beat the Stampede 132-117 Saturday night at the Salem Armory.

Kenny Tate led the Thunder (2-4) with 30 points.

The Stampede are now 4-1.

Up next for the club is two weekend road games.

The Stampede play Vancouver on Friday night, then head to Portland for a re-match with the Chinooks Saturday night.
