NBA Playoffs: Bulls Take Commanding 2-0 Lead on Heat

CHICAGO - Ben Gordon and Luol Deng got hot in the second half, and the Bulls took control of their first-round series with the defending champions.

Gordon scored 11 in the third quarter as Chicago outscored Miami by the same margin, and Deng went for 14 in the fourth to ice a 107-89 victory in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Gordon finished with 27 points on 11-for-19 shooting, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range, and added seven rebounds and five assists. Deng pumped in 26 points and also shot 11-for-19 from the floor.

The Bulls outshot the Heat 55 percent to 46 percent and made 65 percent of their 3-balls compared to 31 percent for Miami.

Dwyane Wade had 21 points and seven assists, and Shaquille O'Neal scored 17 to go along with eight rebounds.

The Heat will look to get back into the series in Friday's Game 3. Tipoff is 8:00 PM ET on ESPN.
