NBA Playoffs: Cleveland Rolls to 2-0 Lead over Wizards

CLEVELAND - Drew Gooden had a strong second quarter, while LeBron James heated up late to lead the Cavaliers to a commanding lead in their first-round series with the Wizards.

Gooden scored 15 of his 24 points in the second as Cleveland grabbed the lead with 2:20 left before halftime and never relinquished it in a 109-102 Game 2 win on Wednesday.

James finished with 27 points, including 13 in the final quarter, dished out seven assists and pulled down eight rebounds.

Entering the fourth down by 12, the Wizards came roaring back as Antawn Jamison netted 15 points in the final quarter. Washington, though, could not get any closer than down three with 18.9 seconds left. Jamison finished with 31 points and 10 boards.

The Wizards will look to get back into the series in Saturday's Game 3 as the series shifts to Washington. Tipoff is 5:30 PM ET on TNT.
