Aug-30-2006 02:15North Salem, West Salem, Sprague, And South Salem 2006 Varsity Football SchedulesSalem-News.com SPORTSNext-up: The 2006 football schedules for McKay, McNary, and Redmond.
SALEM - Here are the 2006 varsity football schedules for the North Salem Vikings, West Salem Titans, Sprague Olympians, and South Salem Saxons. It looks like North Salem will have a tough season this year with games on the road against South Eugene, South Salem, McKay, Putnam, and Sprague, it maybe tough for the Vikings to make the play-offs. South Salem will have to battle for a play-off spot, but with their final four games McKay, Oregon City, McNary, and Sprague at home it should make things a little bit easier on the Saxons. Powerhouse Sprague should once again return to the state playoffs, and battle for the Central Valley leagues top spot. Away games with McMinnville, West Salem, Lakeridge, McNary, and South Salem won’t make things too easy on the Olys. West Salem should vie for a play-off spot. Road games with Newberg, Roseburg, North Salem, Redmond, and McKay should prove to be great, close games. Should the Titans win a majority of those games, the Titians play-off hopes may rest on their final two games with Lake Oswego and McNary at home.
