SALEM - Salem-Keizer Volcanoes first baseman Brett Pill went 3-for-4, with 3 RBI to lead the Volcanoes to a 9-0 eruption over the Everett AquaSox Tuesday night at Everett Memorial Stadium. The Volcanoes hot night was highlighted by a three run homer by centerfielder Michael McBryde in the first inning. Starter Adam Cowart pitched six scoreless innings, giving up only two hits and seven strikeouts. Everett relievers Jose Suriel and Aaron Solomon combined for five hits, two walks and five strikeouts in five innings. Centerfielder Kevin Reynolds went 2-for-4 and Chao Wu had a pinch hit double in the bottom of the ninth.
