CORVALLIS - The Oregon State men’s basketball program has finalized its 2006-07 television schedule and will make at least 15 appearances on local television. Beginning with the Dec. 17th home game against LSU, the Beavers will have at least seven games shown nationally by FSN. Other games picked up by the network include Dec. 30th vs. Oregon, Jan. 6th vs. USC, Jan. 27th at Washington, Feb. 15th at Stanford and Feb. 17th at California. In addition, all early-round games at the Pac-10 Tournament will be shown by FSN, with the championship shown by CBS. FSN Northwest, the regional home of OSU athletics, will show six games to its entire coverage area: Jan. 11 at Arizona, Jan. 18th vs. California, Jan. 20 vs. Stanford, Feb. 3rd at UCLA, Feb. 10th vs. Arizona State and Feb. 24th vs. Washington State. One other game – Feb. 8th vs. Arizona – will be shown by FSN Northwest in the state of Oregon only. The rest of the market will get the California at Washington game. Two games at the end of the season are wildcard contests and could be picked up by CBS, ABC or FSN. Those dates are Feb. 22nd vs. Washington and March 3rd at Oregon. Oregon has already announced that if the game is not picked up by any of those networks, it will be shown by the Oregon Sports Network. Three other games either have been or will be televised, although not in the Northwest. The Nov. 15th Nevada game was televised in Reno and the Nov. 19th Hawaii game was shown in Honolulu. The Jan. 13th game at Arizona State will be on FSN Arizona. OSU fans will also have the opportunity to catch “Beavers All-Access” on FSN Northwest every Wednesday during basketball season. The show will feature men’s head coach Jay John and women’s head coach LaVonda Wagner along with host Todd Mansfield. The show will also be replayed on Comcast/CNW 14 in the Portland area and on the FOX College Sports channel
