SALEM - For the second straight week, Corban's women's basketball team appeared in the NAIA Division II rankings at No. 32 this week in the latest coaches' poll.

The Warriors, who are one of two Cascade Collegiate Conference teams in the national rankings, received eighteen votes in the latest poll that was released Thursday.

The Warriors found themselves at No. 22 in the pre-season poll, No. 36 three weeks ago, No. 33 two weeks ago, and No. 32 last week according to the NAIA coaches.

According to the weekly Cascade Collegiate Conference coaches' poll, Corban is rated second behind conference leading Albertson, who received 94 votes to vault into the top 25, as the nation's 25th ranked school.

The Warriors are in the midst of a two-game winning streak and have won fifteen of their last seventeen contests.

Corban put together a pair of six-game and five-game winning streaks earlier this season before the Warriors dropped a pair of conference games to Albertson (at home) and Eastern Oregon (on the road).

"I am pleased with our spot in the national rankings," said Bale. "I knew that our play over the past six weeks has awarded us with a national ranking. Hopefully, we will be able to mix the pot up this weekend and find ourselves back into the top 25."
