Oregon State, UCLA Meet in Pac-10 Showdown

CORVALLIS - Oregon State returns to Gill Coliseum this Friday night for a dual meet against UCLA at 7:00 PM.

The meet, sponsored by Samaritan Health Heart and Vascular Institute, features a pair of Pac-10 rivals with the 16th-ranked Beavers squaring off against the 7th-ranked Bruins.

Last week the Beavers received a boost to the vault lineup with the return of junior Yuki Lamb.

Lamb continues to work to regain lineup spots on a very talented and youthful team.

Sophomores Jami Lanz (2006 Pac-10 Co-Freshman of the Year) and Tasha Smith (2006 All-American) are expected to set the tone for the Beavers in the friendly atmosphere of Gill Coliseum.

The latest GymInfo rankings have each of OSU’s lineup ranked in the Top 25, including the beam team which is ranked ninth nationally.

The Beavers are 16th on the floor exercise, 20th on the uneven bars and are 22nd on the vault.
