It resumes play Saturday against North Dakota State (2:00 PM) and San Diego State (4:30 PM). The Ducks only loss thus far this season has come at the hands of 19th-ranked Florida in the season opener, 2-1. They were led last week by senior Ann Marie Topps who pounded out three home runs en route to a 5-12 performance from the plate. Topps is tied for the Pacific-10 Conference lead in home runs (5) and runs scored (12), in addition to being the pacesetter in slugging percentage (1.080). Elmira junior Alicia Cook has posted a 5-1 record and is second in the Pac-10 with a 0.71 ERA. She has not allowed an earned run in her last 28 innings pitched.
