Becca Fischer Named Willamette Women's Athlete of The Month

Fischer is fifth in the NWC in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Fischer took first place in two events and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team at the Linfield College-Mills College triangular meet.

She also won two events against Lewis & Clark College.

Against Pacific Lutheran University, she won one event and swam on the victorious 200-yard medley relay team.

She won at least one event in all five meets during the month.

She recorded her top time of the year in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:36.19) against Pacific University on Jan. 27th.

Her efforts helped Willamette pick up wins over Mills and Pacific.

Fischer ranks in the Top 12 in the NWC in six events, including second in the 50-yard breaststroke (33.67 seconds) and fourth in both the 100-yard individual medley (1:03.57) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.24).

She is fifth in the NWC in the 200-yard breaststroke.
