Washington Upsets No. 7 Oregon, 89-77

SEATTLE - Justin Dentmon scored 24 points and had seven assists to lead Washington to an 89-77 victory over No. 7 Oregon on Thursday night.

Bryce Taylor scored 19 points to lead Oregon (18-2 overall, 6-2 Pac-10), which was playing without their leader Aaron Brooks, the Pac-10's scoring leader, who was suspended for the game.

Brooks, who was averaging 18.4 points per game, sat out as his final penalty for elbowing Ryan Appleby in the face during a conference tournament game last March.

Brooks was suspended for flagrantly elbowing the Huskies' Appleby in the face during last year's Pac-10 Tournament.

He wasn't even permitted in Edmundson Pavilion.

Ryan Appleby had 16 points and Spencer Hawes chipped-in 15 for the Huskies (12-7 overall, 2-6 Pac-10).
