PULLMAN, Wash. - The Oregon State Beavers are still trying to beat a ranked opponent, something they haven’t done in four years.

Robbie Cowgill had a career-high 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 20 Washington State to a 70-55 victory over Oregon State on Thursday night.

Sasa Cuic had 17 points and Marcel Jones added 14 for Oregon State (9-12 overall, 1-7 Pac-10), which shot 37 percent from the floor.

Kyle Weaver scored 12 points and Ivory Clark added 11 for Washington State (17-3 overall, 6-2 Pac-10).

Up next for the Beavers is a game Saturday at Bank of America Arena versus the Washington Huskies at 1:00 PM.
