WALLA WALLA, Wash. - With the usual starters playing little to no minutes, EOU started the game on a 20-0 run and never looked back.

The Mounties defeated Walla Walla 73-18 for a non conference win, bringing their record to 18-5.

Reserve wing Laura Olson got the start tonight and made the most of her opportunity, scoring 19 points and pulling down 4 rebounds in 35 minutes of action.

Freshman Salena Leavitt also found herself in the starting

line-up and responded with 11 points, 5 boards and 3 assists.

Amanda Matson, Laura Gyllenburg and Candice Davis rounded out the starting line-up for the Mounties.

Matson finished with 8 points and a team high 6 rebounds.

Davis also scored 8 points and added 5 boards meanwhile, Gyllenburg played 35 solid minutes at the point totaling 5 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

The Mountaineers will host CascadeCollege and Warner Pacific Friday and Saturday nights in Quinn Coliseum. Game times are set for 5:30 PM.
