EUGENE - Undefeated Oregon (13-0, 1-0) tries to match the best start in school history when USC comes calling on Thursday at 5:30 PM.

Then, the nation’s top-ranked team, UCLA, visits McArthur Court for a Saturday morning showdown at 11:00 AM.

OSN will televise the USC game locally in the state of Oregon, while FSN will show the UCLA game live nationally.

The Ducks look to go 14-0 and match the best start in school history. Twice previously -- 1926-27 and 1937-38 -- Oregon opened the season 14-0. Both of those teams lost their 15th game.

Oregon’s current 13-game winning streak is the eighth of 13 games or longer in school history, and is the Ducks’ longest in 60 years. It is also the longest under coach Ernie Kent.

Bryce Taylor has scored in double figures in 12 of 13 games this season and has hit 20 points four times in the last seven outings. He was named Pac-10 player of the week for Dec. 11-17.

Oregon enters the week (through Monday) as one of three unbeaten Division I teams left nationally. Of that group, only the Ducks have defeated a ranked opponent on the road (No. 18 Georgetown).

With UO students still out of session, several hundred general admission tickets ($12), as well as reserved seats ($24) remain available. The UCLA game has sold out.
