PASCO, Wash. - Chad Rothford's three-run homer capped a five-run eighth inning as visiting Salem-Keizer rallied past Tri-City, 8-4, on Saturday. Garret Baker, who went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, snapped a 2-2 tie with a two-run single before Rothford clubbed his fifth homer of the season. Jeremiah Luster and Matthew Downs each drove in a run for the Volcanoes (26-6), who ended a two-game skid. Reliever Andrew DeLaGarza (5-0) picked up the win, despite allowing two runs on four hits with one strikeout in 3 1/3 innings. Daniel Otero pitched around three singles over the final 1 1/3 frames for his Northwest League-leading 11th save. Darin Holcomb ripped a two-run homer, his fifth, and Helder Velazquez went 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Dust Devils (11-21). Tri-City reliever Austin Chambliss (1-2) was pounded for five runs on four hits while fanning one in one inning.
