KEIZER, Ore. - Garret Baker homered and drove in three runs as Salem-Keizer clobbered visiting Yakima, 10-1, on Monday. Baker slugged a two-run homer, his fourth, in the sixth inning and lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh. Andrew Davis and Chad Rothford each ripped two-run doubles and Matthew Downs scored three times for the Volcanoes (28-6). Salem-Keizer starter Thomas Brewer (4-0) gave up one run on six hits and struck out two without walking a batter over five innings. Jesse English yielded one hit and fanned five in three scoreless frames. Evan Frey lined an RBI single in the fifth for the Bears (13-21). Yakima starter Luis Caro (2-4) took the loss after surrendering eight runs -- seven earned -- on 10 hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings.
