SEATTLE - The Seattle SuperSonics have announced that they have signed 2007 NBA Draft selections Kevin Durant and Jeff Green.

Durant was the second overall selection in the draft by the Sonics.

Green, the fifth overall selection, was acquired in a trade with the Boston Celtics.

Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not released.

Durant earned National Player of the Year honors from The Associated Press, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), CBS/Chevrolet and The Sporting News.

In addition, he was the winner of the Adolph Rupp Trophy, the Naismith Award and the Wooden Award, becoming the first-ever freshman in NCAA history to win any of those awards.

In three years at Georgetown University, Green averaged 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

He was named to the Associated Press All-American Third Team in 2006-07 and as a junior, he helped lead the Hoyas to its first Final Four appearance since 1985.

He ranks 17th in scoring, 16th in rebounding and 12th in assists on Georgetown’s all-time lists.

Both players are in Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League and will make their professional debuts on Friday at 3:00 p.m. PT when the Sonics play the Dallas Mavericks at Cox Pavilion.
