Jun-15-2007 05:56Two Oregon Football Games Added to National TV SlateSalem-News.com SPORTSThe Ducks’ Nov. 15 game at Arizona will begin at 6 p.m. (PST) as part of the league’s new Thursday night package on ESPN.
EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon’s Sept. 8 football game at Michigan, as well as it’s Oct. 27 home game with USC, have been selected to be televised nationally, according to recent announcements by the Pac-10 Conference, ABC Sports and Fox Sports Net. Kickoff for the Ducks’ home game with USC has been set for noon to accommodate a FSN telecast. The unconventional start time is because the game will be the first of three Pac-10 contests televised by Fox Sports Net that day, with UCLA and Washington State to follow at 3:30 p.m. (PDT) and California and Arizona State to air at 7 p.m. Oregon also is scheduled for a national ABC telecast when it travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., on Sept. 8, with the 12:30 p.m. (PDT) game currently slated to be the only college football game ABC Sports will air that day. That increases the number of Oregon games already selected for television to four. The Ducks’ Nov. 15 game at Arizona will begin at 6 p.m. (PST) as part of the league’s new Thursday night package on ESPN, while the Dec. 1 Oregon-Oregon State game in Eugene will begin at 1:30 p.m. (ESPN2). All other Oregon home games are tentatively scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m., depending on changes to accommodate future television selections. Two television windows remain open on Sept. 29 when the Ducks host California, and three opportunities exist on Oct. 13 for Oregon’s home game against Washington State. Those game times will not be finalized until six or 12 days prior to kickoff, as part of the Pac-10’s television agreement with ABC Sports and Fox Sports Net. 2007 Oregon Football Schedule Sept. 1 Houston *12:30 p.m. Sept. 8 @ Michigan 12:30 p.m. ABC Sept. 15 Fresno State *12:30 p.m. Sept. 22 @ Stanford * 7:00 p.m. Sept. 29 California *12:30 p.m. Oct. 13 Washington State *12:30 p.m. Oct. 20 @ Washington *TBA Oct. 27 USC Noon FSN Nov. 3 Arizona State *12:30 p.m. Nov. 15 @ Arizona 6:00 p.m. ESPN Nov. 24 @ UCLA *12:30 p.m or 3:30 p.m. Dec. 1 Oregon State 1:30 p.m. ESPN2 All Start Times Pacific Time Zone * Kickoff could change to accommodate TV
