CORVALLIS - Oregon State will play host to Stanford in the NCAA Corvallis Super Regional baseball tournament this Saturday, Sunday and Monday (if necessary)at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Game times for the best-of-three series between the No. 8-ranked Beavers (42-14) and the Cardinal (33-25) will be announced Tuesday at 8:00 AM PDT. Tickets for the NCAA Corvallis Super Regional will go on sale Tuesday at 8:30 AM General admission tickets will be available online at www.osubeavers.com; both reserved and general admission tickets will be available by phone at 1-800-GO BEAVS or 541-737-4455, or in person at the OSU Athletic Ticket Office in Gill Coliseum. All tickets sold in advance will be full-series tickets; the cost is $36 for reserved seats, $24 for adult general admission or $18 for student general admission that are good for admission to every game of the series. Fans should note that the seating located between the third-base dugout and the home team bullpen will be reserved seating for the NCAA Super Regional; those seats had been sold as general admission during the NCAA Corvallis Regional last weekend. Also, there are currently 600 seats being reserved for Stanford and some of those may be released for sale on Wednesday at 8:30 AM. Oregon State will be trying to return to the College World Series for the second consecutive season. The Beavers are the only one of the eight teams from the 2005 CWS to reach the 2006 Super Regionals.
